Our province has over 250 high schools with badminton teams and over 50 junior badminton clubs.
More than 5000 students play badminton in Québec each year in these schools and clubs.
However, less than 20% of boys and 10% of girls will continue with badminton as a life sport after they graduate.
At SMASH, the focus is on team play, a community value that promotes youth to stay active for life through positive sport.
SMASH supports 4 key values: teamwork, fair play, active participation in sport throughout life, and inclusivity for all, including kids diversity and disabilities.
This tournament brings together the most passionate badminton high schools and clubs in the province. A true community of coaches and players who, through their hard work, develop a special BAD network here in Quebec!
